What we keep, and why.

The data controller for personal information collected through InterviewMentor is Augment Labs Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17190174), with registered office at 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU.

When you run a session: your interview transcript, any email you give us, a hashed device fingerprint (so we can rate-limit free sessions without asking you for an account), and basic technical metadata about your browser and connection.

We do not collect your name, address, phone number, or anything we don't need to deliver the report.

Audio is processed in-flight for transcription and immediately discarded. Your transcripts are encrypted at rest and kept only while you keep your account.

Your reports are kept for the same window as your transcripts. You can delete everything from your account page (or by emailing us) at any time.

For the voice loop, evaluation, email delivery, abuse protection, data storage, and payment processing, we rely on industry-standard third-party providers. Each handles your data under their own published privacy policies and our enterprise terms; none are authorised to use your data for advertising or model training.

We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers.

Card payments are handled by a regulated payment processor. We never see or store your card details. The country of your billing address is stored on our side as a 2-letter ISO code for tax attribution; the rest of the address remains with the processor.

UK tax law (HMRC, VAT Act) requires us to keep records of paid transactions for 6 years. Even if you delete your account, we keep an anonymised record of any payment you made — the amount, currency, and date — but with your user ID removed and no link back to your identity.

This is GDPR-compliant: your right to erasure is satisfied because the record can no longer be linked to you. The retention is for tax purposes only and the data is never used for any other purpose.

If you give us your email at the end of a session, we may email you once after about a week and once after about three weeks to ask how your real interview went. This is the only way we know if our practice actually works.

Each follow-up email has a one-click unsubscribe link. We honour it immediately and never email you about outcomes again.

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, or object to any processing — at any time, no reason needed.
